A road trip through Peru unveils at every crossroad endless extensions of raw nature. From bounteous Amazon forests, to desert dunes, from the Andean mountain range to the highest navigable lake in the world. I somehow got the feeling that such fertile diversity was essentially quiet; it grew from the silence of the mountain. Nature somehow revealed it’s power through the humble privilege of silence. What most impressed me about it’s inhabitants, was their transcendent love for the land, throwing a sip of water in gratitude to the ground before starting every meal in order to celebrate nature’s gifts.
